My approach to wine making

A good wine can’t be rushed! So you won’t find industrial methods in Derek’s winery. Instead, you will find his wines bubbling gently and quietly for as long as it takes to get the fullest flavour. The result is a range which includes lighter, drier wines but also more traditional full-fruit varieties.

The liqueur range includes tried and tested favourites, such as Sloe Gin, but also some new and more adventurous flavours, such as Bramble Liqueur with Whisky and Damson Liqueur which are delicious. All of these are made with high quality fruit..
