By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.
The content of and copyright in the Site is owned by or licensed to us. You are permitted to view or print individual pages for your own personal use. Any other use must be with our prior written permission. We reserve the right to suspend, restrict or terminate your use of this Site at any time.
The unauthorised modification (including deleting from or adding to) of this website is strictly prohibited. We cannot be held responsible for the content of any other website to which we publish a link. DJ Wines Ltd makes every effort to ensure that this website is free from viruses and defects. We cannot, however, guarantee that your use of this website will not cause damage to your PC. We cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage which may arise as a result of using this website. This website may only be used for lawful purposes and in a manner, which does not infringe the rights or restrict the use of the website by any third party. Any unauthorised attempt to disrupt the service provided by this website is strictly prohibited.
All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available. Products and packaging are subject to change or substitution without prior notice. Every effort will be made to dispatch the items specified.
We guarantee that the products are free from defects when they are despatched from our premises and meet all current legislative requirements. Any product that is deemed to be defective should be returned to us (we shall refund postage) for analysis and if found to be defective will be replaced free of charge with the same product or an equivalent product at the same price.
You must be 18 or over to access this store. If you are under 18 then you must leave. By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of 18.
We can accept orders for delivery only within the UK. There is no minimum order and all prices shown are inclusive of taxes. If an item is out of stock, we will email you with the option either to cancel your order or, having told you when we can fulfil it, to wait for delivery.
By submitting your order, you are offering to buy the goods and allowing us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying goods including passing your details on to couriers and other subcontractors. You may place an order through the online shop or in person, either emailing or phoning. Online payment is via PayPal but you may pay for your order in cash, by cheque or by Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards. We are not obliged to supply the goods to you until we have confirmed that we have accepted your order and received payment in full.
The total cost of your order is the price of the products including delivery charges. All transactions will be cleared in the UK in GBP (Sterling).
We aim to deliver your order within ten working days of receipt of order. If we have not delivered the goods within 30 days of expected delivery, then you may cancel the order and we will refund any money paid by you. All goods must be checked at the time of delivery. Please inspect the packaging for any signs of damage before signing the delivery note from the courier, as signed delivery notes imply acceptance of the goods and thereafter claims may not be valid.
Limitation of liability; we are unable to accept liability for consequential losses caused by leaking or broken goods.
There is a flat rate charge of for deliveries on the UK mainland. Deliveries to offshore locations i.e. Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Scilly Islands and the Scottish Highlands and Islands will be charged at cost.
For orders of a single bottle of wine / liqueur we charge stand Royal Mail small parcel charge of £3.20 per bottle. Delivery will usually be within 1-2 working days, this method does not include tracking but will require a signature.
Six or more bottle case orders are Next day Courier delivery: £12.50 unless state as free delivery promotion. We use APC Overnight fragile service for next day delivery. A signature is required.
All items ordered after 5pm on a Thursday will be dispatched the following Monday (as we do not like to leave wine in the delivery depot over the weekend). Saturday or overnight delivery options are possible at extra cost - please contact us on 07882649833.
We use APC Overnight courier company to deliver orders, who will require a signature on delivery, if you are unlikely to be home you might prefer to use your work address. Alternatively, you might be carded leading to possible delays or, in the worst case, having to collect from your nearest depot. In the unlikely event that delivery is delayed, due to no fault of our own, we cannot accept responsibility.
APC Overnight undertakes to deliver to the address specified on the Consignment or in the dispatch documentation, not to a Recipient. In respect of UK deliveries, if there is no-one present at the address then at its discretion attempt to deliver the Consignment to an alternative address ie a neighbouring address. If the Consignment is delivered to an alternative address, a Customer Contact Card will be left at the specified address which has been completed with sufficient details to enable the Recipient to recover the Consignment. The Customer agrees that such delivery shall constitute delivery to the address specified as the delivery address on the Consignment.
APC Overnight does not undertake to intercept a Consignment in transit before delivery has been attempted.
APC Overnight shall not be liable in respect of any Consignment delivered to the delivery address or other address specified by the Recipient, where any person misrepresents his authority to receive the Consignment on the Recipient’s or Customer’s behalf; or where Parcelforce Worldwide is delivering it in accordance with instructions from or purporting to be from the Recipient or the Customer.
When delivering a Consignment, if the particular Service provides for it, APC Overnight will request the person who accepts delivery (not necessarily the Recipient in person) to sign an acknowledgement of receipt, which may include signature by electronic means.
PO Box addresses are not acceptable as delivery addresses for any of the Services, unless designated as such at https://apc-overnight.com/
We operate a policy for cancellation to allow you a cooling off period after placing your order. In accordance with the Distance Selling Directive (2000) you may cancel your order at any time without reason within 7 working days of delivery.
You may cancel your order, for any reason provided: - you, or the recipient notifies us of your cancellation in writing/ e-mail to the address on our "contact us" page within seven working days of delivery. The goods remain unused and the packages or boxes remain unopened. You or the recipient retain and take reasonable care of the goods until you return them. You return packaged item(s) to DJ Wines Ltd to the address on the "contact us" page.
Please be aware that you will be liable for the original and any postage/carrier costs incurred as a result of returning items to DJ Wines Ltd and you should ensure that you obtain proof of postage as you send it back. A refund can only be provided for items received back by us in perfect condition.
